Our Story
LET US OPEN OUR HEARTS AND KITCHEN CUPBOARDS, AND BEGIN…
Cooking is akin to worship in Punjabi culture. You’re invited to take part in this fulfilling experience with Indico Bazaar, and share it with the people you hold most dear
Love that has travelled from the streets of North India, to our colourful restaurants, and now into your own rasoi…
It started on the rickety-rackety streets of North India. Amid the bustle of sweaty chaiwalas, and street food vendors, plating-up mountains of something crispy.
For in North India, food is more than just a means-of-survival. It is rather, a celebration of deep-seated culture, as well as beliefs and principles that shape the very nation we love so dearly today.
Indico Bazaar pays tribute to this.
In our own exuberant way, we preserve Punjabi culture, while ensuring that we’re satisfying appetites at the same time. No doubt, our restaurants, Spice Blends and debut book “In Delhi, it Pours” will soothe your insides in a way that no other meal can.
As loyal believes of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (the Guest is God), we have wanted to leave no stone unturned where the Indico experience is concerned. In fact, every inch our brand is designed to serve and delight you - while putting our own self-importance aside.
A book that is perfectly seasoned with stories, artistry, and easy-to-follow recipes.
For us, the magic ingredient in all Punjabi cuisine is love.
Our debut book “In Delhi, it Pours” has love in abundance, along with food stories, stunning artwork, and recipes that any novice cook will be able to follow - with the help of our Spice Blends range.
Far from our own, self-righteous founding story, In Delhi, it Pours celebrates ordinary people who do extraordinary things on a daily basis. This is what North Indian culture is built on, rather than the stereotypes we feed in the West (and commercialise for the sake of popularity).
You will find no other cookbook as honest, nor as creative. From the moment our team clinked chai cups together upon starting In Delhi, it Pours, we were determined to make it a world-first creation, that would move every fibre of your soul.
